What is Acceptance Letter
A supervisor acceptance is an email, letter or form from a future supervisor expressing her or his willingness to accept you as a master’s or doctoral student. The method of supervisor acceptance is different in different countries.
Professors from the Chinese University fill out/write this form/letter based on their understanding of the applicant. This form/letter is not an official admission letter; nonetheless, it can be used as a supplement to the application documents for Chinese universities. A letter/form like this is required by most Chinese colleges in order to enroll new graduate students. If a candidate receives a scholarship or is accepted, the major and supervisor are usually locked in.
In most of japanese universities only an email of supervisor acceptance is enough, no need of any further acceptance letter. In Hongkong universities supervisor give you acceptance by an email and then you write his/her name in online admission application. here also no need of any acceptance letter.
