How To Find Supervisor

Before contacting a possible supervisor, you should be prepared to do some preliminary research on their work and academic specializations (if you haven’t previously).
Supervisors will have their own academic profile page, which will be available on their university/departmental website as well as elsewhere. These pages are useful for learning more about their work and research interests from them directly. They’ll normally state whether or not they’re presently accepting supervisees, as well as the academic fields they’d like to supervise PhD students in.
You must demonstrate that you understand their prior publications and current research activities when writing a PhD supervisor request letter – don’t presume that you can send a generic email to a possible supervisor without demonstrating true expertise and interest for their topic.
